Bobby Joe Oliver, 72, of Wister died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, in Wister. Bobby was born Oct. 7, 1940, in Victor to James Tillman and Lorene Mildred (Hicks) Oliver. He was a member of the community his entire life. He had a large family and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Pat Green, Carolyn Akers, and Janice Nix; daughter, Phyllis Agee; and great-granddaughter, Rylee Mills.
He left behind his loving partner, Rose Miller; daughters, Tracy and Kerry Mills, Angela and Jonathan McKenzie, Vicki Goble, Connie Elders, Amanda Miller, Debbie Loomis, Alexis Sweeten, Charity Sweeten; sons, Matt and Tina Martindale, Dustin and Amber Martindale; brother, John Pfalzgraf; and grandchildren, Kerry Joe Mills, Joshua Mills, Brandi Mills, Scotty Clague, Lisa Eason, Erin Eason; numerous great-grandchildren; and a large extended family.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with the Rev. Jack Covey officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau.
Arrangements are under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
