Bokoshe looks for first district win tonight to end season on high note; Tigers travel to Yukon to meet SW Covenant

All the Bokoshe Tigers football team wants is a District C-4 win before 2013 comes to and end. Tonight will be their last shot when the Tigers (1-7 overall, 0-6 in district play) make the long journey to Yukon to meet the Southwest Covenant Patriots (3-4, 3-3) at 7:30 p.m.
“It would be big for our four seniors to go out with a district win,” Bokoshe coach Bryan Murray said. “The kids have worked hard all year long and have improved themselves. I do see better things down the road, but to win a district game in as tough a district as we're in it would be big.”

To Get There — Take Oklahoma State Highway 31 east to Hudson Corners Road. Turn left to Sallisaw Y. Continue north on U.S. 59 to Sallisaw. Take Interstate 40 west to Oklahoma State Highway 92 (Garth Brooks Blvd.) in Yukon. Take Garth Brooks Blvd. north across Oklahoma State Highway 66 and the railroad track to stadium.
