Bokoshe Tigers to finally see some game action, welcome Porum to begin new season

September 2, 2011

So far, the Bokoshe Tigers football team has not had as much time on the field as first-year Coach Tyler Massey would like.
First of all, school did not begin until Aug. 24, and until school began not all the players were at preseason practices. In fact, the Tigers did not even have a preseason scrimmage, where most, if not all, teams had two.
Tonight's season opener against Porum at 7:30 p.m. at home will be the first game-like situation in which the Tigers will have participated this season.
While that has put the Tigers somewhat behind most teams, it's also made them very enthusiastic for tonight's game.
“We're ready to go out there and line up against somebody else, and see what we can do,” Massey said. “We're just anxious to get it going.”
