Booth Dean Grey, 71, of Summerfield
died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 in
Summerfield. Dean was born Oct. 17,
1939, in Summerfield to Malcolm and
Bessie (Hollan) Grey. He was a member
of the International Brotherhood
Electrical Workers and a veteran of the
U.S. Army. He loved helping people,
hunting, fishing, dogs and horses. He
was preceded in death by his birth parents; foster parents,
Jacob and Margie James; sisters and brothers-in-law,
Eunice and Joe Bandoni, Bobbie and Curly Cooper. He
loved and was so proud his kids, his grandkids, and his
good friends.
Survivors include his wife Barbara of the home; daughter
and son-in-law, Melissa Ann and Russell Duncan of
Summerfield; son and daughter-in-law, Dylan Booth and
Lisa Gayle Grey of Summerfield; grandchildren, Amber
Anne Grey, Ashley Anne Grey, Cody Dean and Heather
Duncan, Liana Faye Wagner, William Ray Wagner, Camri
Dylane Duncan; sister, Marie Jones of Florida; brothers
and sister-in-law, Raymond Gray of Eufaula,, Elton and
June Grey of Whitesboro; sister-in-law and brother-in-law,
Anita and Steve Lavahn of Poteau; mother and father-inlaw,
Ada Mae and Garlin Marshall of Poteau; other relatives
and loved ones; many many special friends including
his faithful ol’ dog, Bear.
Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 7, at First
Baptist Church, Summerfield, with the Rev. Charles
Caughern officiating.
The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday
from 5-7 p.m. to visit with relatives and friends.
