Bow season is finally here, and I am behind schedule

September 26, 2013

Holy smokes! Bow season is less than a week away. I have finally got to do some scouting, and I have my stands ready to put up. The only thing I am missing is time to put them up in the next four days.
In the last five years, I have had stands up and cameras out in August or early September, but my schedule this year has hindered me from getting that done. So, I am going in to this season with the feeling of being behind.
The one thing I am not behind on is shooting my bow. Dan Carter and I have found enough time to get prepared so I will be ready if I do get a shot. Also, I have several places that I have hunted over the last several years that I know hold deer, so getting a shot will be a possibility.
Have a great week!
