Breaking News: Death at Runestone State Park

UPDATE:

ACCORDING TO LEFLORE COUNTY SHERIFF BRUCE CURNUTT THE DEATH THAT OCCURRED TUESDAY EVENING AT THE RUNESTONE PARK IS BEING TREATED AS A SUICIDE. THE DETAILS OF THE INCIDENT NOR THE NAME OF THE DECEASED WILL NOT BE RELEASED. THE BODY HAS BEEN SENT TO THE STATE MEDICAL EXAMINERS OFFICE.

Authorities with the LeFlore County Sheriffs Department, the Heavener Police Department and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation were called to the scene of a death late Tuesday evening at the Heavener Runestone Park. Details had not been released as of press time regarding the circumstances surrounding the death. As of press time, LeFlore County Sheriff Bruce Curnutt was still on scene and unavailable for comment.
