Breaking the Silence seminar coming in April
Nicole Braddock Bromley of OneVoice Enterprises along with her mother, Cynthia Stiverson wish to “Break the Silence” by teaching victims of sexual abuse to speak out. Bromley and Stiverson have three scheduled appearances in Poteau this month to help spread light, hope and healing to those who have been victimized by a sexual assailant. They will appear at the Kiamichi Technology Center at 11 a.m April 11 for a one-hour workshop training seminar for faculty, staff, youth ministers, area law enforcement, etc. Early registration is requested. From 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., they will be at the Carl Albert State College auditorium to deliver an afternoon keynote session designed for middle-school, high-school and college girls. The session will cover sexual abuse, harassment and assault, healthy relationships, healthy choices and many more topics. Their last appearance April 11 will be at Carl Albert Baptist Collegiate Ministries from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m., in which they will hold an open session for women-only for informal discussion.If you would like more information about the seminars or to pre-register, contact Nina Morgan (918) 647-4525 at Kiamichi Technology Center in Poteau.
