Brown's 3s help CASC women down NOC-Tonkawa; men lose

January 23, 2013

Behind 18 points from D. Brown on 5-of-10 shooting from 3-point range, the Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings won 58-53 over Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa in the first game Monday night in Tonkawa.
Despite the Carl Albert State College Vikings holding a 25-24 lead at halftime, the Vikings couldn't make the lead stand up. NOC-Tonkawa had a decisive run late in the second half to pull away for the 59-45 win Monday night.
The CASC teams will return to action tonight with road games against NOC-Enid at the Mabee Center in Enid. The women's contest will be at 6 p.m., followed by the men's game at 8 p.m.
