Burnice Jeraldine Gwin

Burnice Jeraldine Gwin, 85, of Fort Smith, Ark., formerly of Poteau, died Friday, June 21, 2013, in Fort Smith. Burnice was born Dec. 27, 1927 in Buckland, Mo. She was a nurse. Burnice was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Gwin; brothers, Roy, Russell and Robert King; and sister, Ruby Vincent.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ivan and Teresa Foxworthy of Fort Smith; grandchildren, Shelley and David Dennis of Poteau, Frank Stockton of Fort Smith, Clint Stockton of Pocola; nine great-grandchildren; other relatives and loved ones; many friends.
Services will be held at 3 p.m., Tuesday, June 25, in Oakland Cemetery, Poteau, with Sonny Daniels officiating.
The family will be at Evans and Miller Funeral Home on Monday from 6-8 p.m. to visit with relatives and friends. You may leave an online message at evansandmillerfuneralhomes.com.
