Cameron boys beat Leflore in OT to win EOSC Blue Tournament title; Bokoshe girls claim championship in Blue Tournament

WILBURTON — Two LeFlore County high school basketball teams won championships in the Eastern Oklahoma State College Tournament on Saturday.
In the Blue Tournament, the Cameron Yellowjackets and the Bokoshe Lady Tigers brought home the gold. The ’Jackets beat the Leflore Savages 48-43 in overtime, while the Lady Tigers defeated the Panola Lady Bearcats 36-33 — also in OT — Saturday night at EOSC's Claud C. Dunlap Fieldhouse.
One other team, the Whitesboro Bulldogs, lost the Gold Tournament title game 70-48 to the Red Oak Eagles.
The Whitesboro Lady Bulldogs defeated the Leflore Lady Savages 29-14 in the Gold Tournament's third-place game.
On Friday, new Cameron Girls Coach Sheila Jones got her first win as her Lady Yellowjackets defeated the Haileyville Lady Warriors 30-16 to claim the consolation championship of the Gold Tournament.
The Bokoshe Tigers lost their consolation championship of the Blue Tournament to the Battiest Panthers by a score of 92-30.
