CROWDER — Their stay at the Crowder Tournament started rough, but things ended on a bright note for the Cameron Yellowjackets baseball team.
The Yellowjackets edged the McAlester junior varsity 7-6 on Saturday to win the consolation title. The ’Jackets stayed alive with Friday victories over Muldrow 1-0 and Kiowa 3-2.
The Panama Razorbacks, the other local team in the field, lost its second game of the tournament and of their season Friday as they fell 10-1 to the McAlester JV to be eliminated from the tournament.
