Two LeFlore County golfers, Cameron's Kody Whitehead and Heavener's Colt Dunigan, punched their tickets to next week's regional tournaments with strong outings in Monday's regional qualifiers.
At the Class 2A Regional Qualifier at Idabel Country Club, Whitehead had the top individual qualifying score with a 73. The two-time state qualifier will play in next Monday's Class 2A Regional Tournament, which will be Pryor Creek Golf Course in Pryor.
Dunigan grabbed the final individual berth to next Monday's Class 3A Regional Tournament at Scissortail Golf Course in Verdigris as he shot a 95 in Monday's regional qualifier at Fountainhead Resort Golf Course.
Dunigan had two other teammates play in Monday's regional qualifier, Chance Dunigan and Tyler Ester, but both missed making the cut to qualify for the regional. Chance Dunigan missed the cut by eight strokes as he shot a 103. Ester carded a 110.
