Cameron teams open season by splitting against McCurtain squads Friday night

McCURTAIN — The Cameron High School basketball teams opened their seasons Friday night by splitting against McCurtain.
The Yellowjackets rallied from a 25-8 deficit in the opening period to knock off the Bulldogs 70-64.
In the girls' game, the Lady ’Jackets suffered a 53-26 in the first game for new coach Sheila Jones.
