Cameron, Whitesboro boys, Bokoshe girls get wins in EOSC Tournament

WILBURTON — Three LeFlore County basketball teams got wins Tuesday in Day 2 of the Eastern Oklahoma State College Tournament.
The Cameron Yellowjackets handled the Bokoshe Tigers 64-18 at Wilburton High School, while the Whitesboro Bulldogs was too much for Clayton in a 51-32 victory at Eastern Oklahoma State College's Claud C. Dunlap Fieldhouse. The Tigers' loss put them into the consolation championship game at 5:20 p.m. Friday at Claud C. Dunlap Fieldhouse.
The Bokoshe Lady Tigers defeated the Red Oak junior varsity 40-19 at Wilburton High School to advance to Saturday's 5:10 p.m. championship game at EOSC.
Wednesday's games in the tournament had Cameron's girls play Leflore at EOSC, followed by Cameron's boys facing Panola. At Wilburton High School, Leflore's boys was slated to meet Battiest.
Today is the final day of pool play games. At EOSC, the Savages will play Lakewood Christian at 4 p.m., followed by Whitesboro's girls meeting Gans at 5:20 p.m. and the Lady Savages facing Red Oak at 6:40 p.m. At Wilburton High School, the Bulldogs will face McCurtain at 8 p.m.
How all the teams fare in their respective pool will determine who and when they will play on either Friday and Saturday.
