Cameron, Wister in winner's-bracket semis at 2013 CASC Classic; Howe Lions no-hit by Smithville's Rose in consolation semifinals

The Cameron Yellowjackets and the Wister Wildcats found themselves in the winner's-bracket finals of the 18th annual Carl Albert State College Classic on Friday.
The ’Jackets blanked the Howe Lions 10-0 Thursday night at Cameron, while the ’Cats also posted a shutout — 8-0 over the Kiowa Cowboys on Thursday afternoon at CASC's Ival Goodman Field.
The Yellowjackets faced Crowder and the Wildcats met Red Oak in Friday's winner's-bracket finals at Cameron with the winners to meet at 3 this afternoon in Cameron for the Classic championship. The losers will play for third place at 1 this afternoon in Cameron.
The Lions saw their tournament run end Friday afternoon at Ival Goodman Field as they were no-hit by Smithville pitcher Justin Rose in an 11-1 loss to be eliminated from the tournament.
