Carl Albert baseball team goes 1-3 with Murray State

April 17, 2013

Just as during the previous week against Western Oklahoma State College of Altus, last week's four-game series against Murray State College was a tough one for the Carl Albert State College baseball team.
Just as against Western, the Vikings went 1-3 against the Aggies in their two-day, four-game series.
The only win for the Vikings came in Friday's opener at Ival Goodman Field, as Carl Albert won 5-1 before Murray State took the nightcap 7-0.
Saturday afternoon in Tishomingo, the Aggies swept the Vikings by scores of 5-4 in eight innings and 10-0 in a five-inning, mercy-rule game.
The Vikings will return to action in a road doubleheader against Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa at 1 p.m. Thursday before the two play another twinbill at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ival Goodman Field.
