Finding a player who can do it all is hard, but the Carl Albert State College baseball team just may have found one.
The Vikings signed Tushka's Scott Brinkley Tuesday morning on campus.
“He worked out in the outfield and the infield, then he got on the mound — and showed off on the mound,” said CASC coach Mark Pollard about seeing Brinkley in action in a recent tryout. “He showed that he can play anywhere. He's pitching this summer in Ardmore for the Legion team, and he just got his first loss of the season — losing to a Dallas team. He's 4-1. I'm hoping he won't pitch too much. Once a week is just about right.”
