The 2012 baseball season for the Carl Albert State College Vikings started in fine fashion as they swept a doubleheader from the University of the Ozarks junior varsity Wednesday afternoon at Ival Goodman Field by scores of 10-0 in a five-inning run-rule contest and 9-2.
The Vikings will return to action with back-to-back days of action Wednesday and Thursday. They will entertain Coffeyville, Kan., in a noon doubleheader on Wednesday before traveling to Muskogee to face the Bacone College JV in a twinbill beginning at 1 p.m. Thursday.
