While the beginning of the four-game, two-day series at Ival Goodman Field with the Western Oklahoma State College Pioneers was not to the Carl Albert State College baseball team's liking, the end sure was.
The Vikings ended the four-game series with a doubleheader sweep of the Pioneers by scores of 4-3 and 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.
However, the series began with a Western sweep on Friday afternoon by scores of 3-1 and 10-0.
The Vikings will return to action this afternoon, welcoming archrival Eastern Oklahoma State College to town for a 2 p.m. single nine-inning contest at Ival Goodman Field.
