Carl Albert baseball team splits home pair with Paris after losing three Sunday games in Seminole; Vikings entertain Southwestern, Iowa over weekend

March 13, 2014

The Carl Albert State College baseball team split its Tuesday home doubleheader with Paris, Texas, taking the opener 10-2 but losing the nightcap 6-4 at Ival Goodman Field.
That came after a rough Sunday for the Vikings, losing three games in one day at Oiler Park in Seminole. After losing 11-0 to Indian Hills, Texas, the host Seminole State Trojans swept a pair from the Vikings by scores of 11-3 and 6-5.
The Vikings will return to action this weekend as they will entertain Southwestern, Iowa for six games in three days at Ival Goodman Field. There will be a pair of 1 p.m. doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday, followed by a noon twinbill on Monday.
