Carl Albert baseball team splits with NOC-Enid Monday afternoon; twinbill moved to Monday due to Sunday's rain

May 1, 2012

ENID — Thursday afternoon at Ival Goodman Field, the Carl Albert State Vikings split a baseball doubleheader with the Northern Oklahoma College-Enid Jets.
Although Sunday afternoon's rain at David Allen Memorial Ballpark made the two teams wait until Monday afternoon to play the second doubleheader on the season series, the outcome was the same — a split.
The Vikings took the nightcap 6-4 after losing the opener 3-1.
