The Carl Albert State College Vikings baseball team got this week off in fine fashion with a sweep of the Paris (Texas) Junior College Dragons on Monday afternoon at Ival Goodman Field.
The Vikings nipped the Dragons 1-0 in nine innings in the opener, then took the nightcap 3-2.
Carl Albert will be home for the next two days. The Vikings will entertain Arkansas Baptist for a doubleheader at 12:45 p.m. Friday at Ival Goodman Field.
The Vikings then will face archrival Eastern Oklahoma State College in a single, nine-inning contest beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday at Ival Goodman Field.
