Carl Albert basketball teams split games against Western in Altus; CASC cagers will end home regular season Thursday night against Connors State Cowboys

February 25, 2014

Great defensive pressure in the second half was the key as the Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings forced the Western Oklahoma State College Lady Pioneers into 30 turnovers in their impressive 70-53 road win Friday night in Altus.
Getting 21 points from Stirling Thomas and 53.6 percent shooting from the field proved to be the difference for the Pioneers in their 80-56 win over the Vikings in Friday's second game of Friday's doubleheader.
The CASC teams will close out their home regular season Thursday night at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse against Connors State College. The women's contest will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the men's game at 8 p.m.
