BARTLESVILLE — The Carl Albert State College Vikings played and lost their first game in the Region II Tournament Thursday afternoon. The Redlands Community College Cougars beat the Vikings 14-6 at Doenges Ballpark.
The Vikings (37-20) was slated to play a Friday night game against Murray State. If they lost, they will play an elimination game at noon today, while a win will put them into a winner's-bracket semifinal at noon today.
One more loss regardless will eliminate Carl Albert from the tournament.
