Carl Albert softball team goes 1-2 in Carthage Bash; Sunday's games rained out; Lady Vikings will return to action next Tuesday afternoon at Seminole State

CARTHAGE, Mo. — The Carl Albert State College softball team went 1-2 on Saturday at the Carthage Bash, which had its Day 2 action rained out on Sunday.
The Lady Vikings beat East Central, Mo., 4-1 in the final of three games on Saturday after losing 14-6 to Jefferson County, Mo., and 18-2 to Southeastern Iowa.
The Lady Vikings will return to action next Tuesday afternoon in a road doubleheader against Seminole State College beginning at 2 p.m.
Editor's note: The three-day, six-game home baseball series with Southwestern, Iowa, was rained out. None of the games have been rescheduled yet.
