April 15, 2014

WILBURTON — The Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings softball team literally homered its way to a Game 1 4-0 victory over the archrival Eastern Oklahoma State College Lady Mountaineers on Saturday afternoon, hitting three round-trippers to produce all four runs.
Unfortunately for the Lady Vikings, they suffered a 3-2, eight-inning loss to the Lady Mountaineers in the nightcap.
The Lady Vikings, whose Monday road doubleheader against Northern Oklahoma College-Enid moved to 2 p.m. Wednesday due to weather, will entertain Seminole State College for a 2 p.m. twinbill this afternoon.
