The Carl Albert State College softball team experienced both joy and sorrow in Tuesday afternoon's home doubleheader against Connor State College.
After Alli Eales' walk-off, two-run home run in the seventh inning of the opener gave Carl Albert a 3-2 win, the Cowgirls avenged the loss in a big way in the nightcap with a 13-2 victory.
After the Lady Vikings traveled Thursday to Shawnee to play Seminole State in a doubleheader, the same two teams were slated to be in a twinbill here beginning at 2 p.m. Friday in the regular-season finale. However, due to the threat of rain on Friday, all four games of the two-day series were played Thursday in Shawnee. Look for the story about all four games in Saturday's edition.
