Carl Albert softball team suffers road losses to Western Oklahoma

ALTUS — It was a rough Saturday afternoon for the Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings softball team, which dropped a road doubleheader against Western Oklahoma State College.
The Lady Pioneers got an 8-0 run-ruled victory in five innings in the opener, then rallied late to take a 3-2 eight-inning victory in the nightcap.
The Lady Vikings will return to action this afternoon in a road doubleheader against Rose State College in Midwest City. Action is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m.
