February 20, 2013

INDEPENDENCE, Kan. — The Carl Albert State College softball team split its road doubleheader against Independence on Tuesday afternoon.
The Lady Vikings took the nightcap 11-8 after losing the opener 8-3.
The Lady Vikings' home doubleheader against Crowder, Mo., which was scheduled for a 2 p.m. start this afternoon, has been moved to 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Editor's Note — Carl Albert's home baseball doubleheader against Paris (Texas) Junior College was rained/snowed out on Wednesday. No make-up date has been set, but the rained-out twinbill at Coffeyville (Kan.) College that was rained out last week has been rescheduled for April 9. However, the site of that doubleheader has not been determined at this time.
