It was a rough weekend of softball for the Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings, who dropped three of four games in a pair of doubleheaders.
The lone win was a thrilling 10-9 come-from-behind victory in Saturday’s nhightcap over Rose State, which took the opener 6-3 in nine innings.
On Sunday, Western Oklahoma State College swept Carl Albert, winning 5-3 and 11-0 in a five-inning, run-rule contest.
The Lady Vikings have already canceled two games this week because of the threatening weather condition — today’s doubleheader on the road against Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa and Thursday’s home twinbill against Connors State College.
The NOC-Tonkawa road games will take place at 2 p.m. Friday.
The home games against Connors State College will take place at 2 p.m. April 24.
