Carl Albert softball twinbill at Independence canceled, no make-up date will be set; Lady Vikings will play Crowder today, this weekend in Murray State Classic in Tishomingo

The Carl Albert State College softball team had its road doubleheader Tuesday afternoon at Independence, Kan., canceled, with no make-up date scheduled.
The Lady Vikings will return to action this afternoon as they will make up the home doubleheader with Crowder, Mo., beginning at noon.
Then, Carl Albert will play in this weekend's Murray State College Festival Friday and Saturday at the Johnston County Sports Complex in Tishomingo.
Carl Albert will play Neosho, Kan., at 2 p.m., followed by a contest against host Murray State at 4 p.m. On Saturday, the Lady Vikings will face Northeast Texas at 2 p.m., followed by a 4 p.m. contest against North Central Texas.
