Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings sign four players

May 9, 2012

Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings Basketball Coach Jeff Tadtman would like to announce his first wave of new players for the 2012-13 season.
Abby Jackson, is a 5-6 combination guard from Acorn, Ark. She is a coach's kid, who does a lot of good things, according to Tadtman.
During her senior year, Jackson was named to the Arkansas Activities Association Class 1A All-State Girls Basketball Team, All-District Team and the Arkansas High School Coaches All-Star Basketball Team. Her sophomore year, she was named to the Class 1A All-State Basketball Team.
Kasuela Cooper is a 6-2 post player from Charleston, Mo. She will provide the Lady Vikings with a strong post presence on both ends of the floor next season.
During her senior year, Cooper was named to the First Team of the Scott-Mississippi Conference, Southeast Missouri Sportswriters All-Region Second Team and the BA Sports All-Star Extravaganza. Her junior year, she was a member of the Lady Royals Classic All-Tournament Team and the Southeast Missouri All-Region First Team as a sophomore.
Daquayla Terry, is a 5-10 forward from Huntsville, Texas. She has the ability to do many different things on the offensive end, which should be big for the Lady Vikings this coming season.
Terry's honors include being named First Team All-District during her junior and senior years.
Minja Savic, is a 6-4 post player from Serbia. Savic's height will really be beneficial to the Lady Vikings this upcoming season.
