Behind 24 points from Shelby Trozzi and 23 points from Whitney Barnes, the Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings won their seventh consecutive game over the Eastern Oklahoma State College Lady Mountaineers, winning 77-57 Thursday night at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse in Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference action.
Thanks to 27 points from Marcus Tarrance and 65.3-percent shooting from the field, that proved to be the difference for the eighth-ranked Mountaineers in their 84-68 win over the Vikings in Thursday night's second game.
The CASC teams will return to action Monday night at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse against Redlands Community College. The women's game will tip off at 6 p.m., followed by the men's contest at 8 p.m.
