CASC athletes, softball team earn honors for 2013-14 season

Five Carl Albert State College athletes and the Lady Vikings softball team were honored by the National Junior College Athletic Association for the 2013-14 season.
Four athletes, softball player and former Poteau Lady Pirate, Meagan Ryburn, baseball players Cody Luman of Wister and Carter Cumbie and basketball player Taylor Rains all earned Exemplary Academic Achievement Awards.
Lady Viking softball player Karlee Loula received the Pinnacle Award for Academic Excellence.
Loula and the Lady Vikings as a team were recognized for their academic prowess as the Lady Vikings sported a composite 3.27 grade-point average.
