The regular season ended the best possible way for the Carl Albert State College baseball team Saturday afternoon at Ival Goodman Field.
The Vikings swept a home doubleheader from the Redlands Community College Cougars by scores of 5-1 and 6-5.
Three Carl Albert baseball players got great news on Monday. Johnson, Cummings and Red Oak freshman pitcher Dwight Camp were named to not only the All-Region II Baseball Team but the All-Region II Gold Glove Team.
The Vikings will begin postseason play in the Region II Tournament at noon Thursday in Bartlesville as they will once again face the Cougars — in what will be the fifth game in a week between Carl Albert and Redlands.
