CASC pitchers combine on no-hitter as Vikings sweep Bacone JV

March 30, 2012

MUSKOGEE — As frustrating as Tuesday's home doubleheader losses to Rose State College at Ival Goodman Field was for the Carl Albert State College baseball team, that was all forgotten on Wednesday afternoon.
The pitching duo of Dillon Hamilton and Tanner Williams combined to throw a no-hitter as the Vikings blanked the Bacone College junior varsity 8-0 in the second game of Wednesday afternoon's doubleheader.
The Vikings took the opener in a 10-0, five-inning, run-rule victory.
In the nightcap, Hamilton (1-0) pitched the first four innings, gave up no hits and struck out eight batters, while Williams got his first save of the season as he went the final three innings of no-hit baseball with six Ks.
