CASC says it's 'Chili' time

January 27, 2014

The 18th Annual Carl Albert State College/Walmart Chili Cooking Contest is set for Friday, Feb. 21.
Organizers encourage everyone to get involved. The competition will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the second floor of the Costner-Balentine Student Center at CASC.
To enter a pot of chili in the contest, download the official entry form at www.carlalbert.edu, submit your entry form and plan to have your famous chili tested along with countless others.
There is no entry fee and prizes will be awarded to those who make the tastiest chili. Several door prizes will be given away and a silent auction will feature an array of items.
For those wanting to take advantage of a great meal, fun and fellowship, tickets are $7 and cover-all-you-can eat chili, hotdogs, drinks, and desserts. Tickets can be purchased from many Carl Albert employees,- or by calling (918) 647-1231 or (918) 647-1398. Tickets and entry forms also are available at the F.L. Holton Business Center from Jessica Lloyd, third floor in office BC 866-F, and Annette Staats, first floor in office BC805.
The contest is sponsored by Carl Albert State College and Walmart.
The event is a fundraising effort by staff, faculty, students and supporters to benefit students through the CASC Development Foundation.
