CASC softball team splits home finale with Rose State; Lady Vikings entertain NOC-Tonkawa in Region II Tournament play-in series beginning this afternoon

The Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings ended their regular season with a home softball split with Rose State College on Friday afternoon.
The Lady Vikings won the nightcap 3-0 after losing the opener 9-5.
The postseason will begin this afternoon for the Lady Vikings as they will be a part of the first-ever Region II Tournament play-in series, facing Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa in a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m. Tuesday. If both teams split today's twinbill, a rubber game will take place on Wednesday at a time to be determined at the end of Tuesday's action.
