CASC softball team splits with Rose State; CASC's Tuesday baseball DH at Seminole State canceled, rescheduled for here March 29

The Carl Albert Lady Vikings softball team rallied in the latter innings to pull out a 6-5 win over Rose State College in the nightcap of a doubleheader Tuesday afternoon.
Rose State broke a scoreless tie in the opener with a three-run eight inning to earn a 3-0 victory to garner a split of the twinbill.
In the opener, Kera Smith's one-out, RBI single in the sixth inning proved to be the game-winning hit for the Lady Vikings.
Carl Albert Baseball Doubleheader Canceled
Tuesday afternoon's Carl Albert road baseball doubleheader at Seminole State College was canceled due to a funeral of someone close to the Seminole State athletic program.
CASC Assistant Coach Ryan Bowen said the twinbill has been rescheduled for 1:30 p.m. March 29 at Ival Goodman Field.
The Vikings' next action is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Saturday for a home doubleheader against Arkansas Baptist.
