Five players in double figures and a 13-2 run to begin the second half proved to be the difference for the Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings in their 88-27 win over the Bacone College Junior Varsity Lady Warriors on Thursday night on homecoming 2013Â at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse. The effort by the Lady Vikings against the Lady Warriors tied the school record of 27 points allowed to a Lady Viking opponent in program's history.
The Vikings also made it a happy homecoming as 29 points from Katrell Henry and 20 points from De'Quan Doyle proved to be the difference in their 81-64 win over the Bacone JV for their first win of the season.
Justice Johnson was crowned CASC's 2013 homecoming queen at halftime of the men's game.
The Vikings are off until 7 p.m. next Friday when they face Collin County, Texas, at Bloomer Sullivan Fieldhouse on the campus Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant.
