CASC Vikings pick up split in New Year's Classic

January 10, 2012

Two strong halves on the offensive end proved to be the difference for the Carl Albert State College Vikings in a 78-58 win over Whiteman Air Force Base Saturday night in the New Year's Classic in West Plains, Mo.
In the first game for the Vikings of the second semester, they lost 76-47 on Friday evening to the host West Plains.
After the Vikings and Lady Vikings played Monday night against archrival Eastern Oklahoma State College at Wilburton's Claud C. Dunlap Fieldhouse, they will hit the road again for games Thursday night in El Reno against Redlands Community College. The women will play at 6 p.m., followed by the men at 8 p.m.
