Behind Ericka Edwards’ 19 second-half points, the Carl Albert State College Lady Vikings shocked the 19th-ranked Redlands Community College Lady Cougars 69-62 Thursday night at Mick Thompson Fieldhouse.
The 17-point outings by Redlands players Jared Griffin and Quienton Paras proved to be the difference for the Cougars in their 73-64 win over the Vikings.
The CASC teams will return to action Monday night with road games against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M in Miami. The women’s game will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the men’s contest at 8 p.m.
