Choctaw Country Club team wins Kiwanis Club Tournament

The Choctaw Country Club team of Carl Albert State College Women's Basketball Coach Jeff Tadtman, Kenny Pickle, Jerry Holton and Russell Vanhook won Saturday's 2012 Kiwanis Club Golf Tournament at Choctaw Country Club. The team shot a 61.
The Allstate Insurance team of Craig Hall, Ralph Perdue Jr., Willie Potts and Gary Brown was second at 63, followed by The Jeff Smith District Attorney team of Paul Mode, Jeff Smith, Jason Newby, Bokoshe Girls Coach Daniel Caldwell and Mason Brooks (65) in third place.
The Sockey Construction team of Steven Sockey, Paul Quirk, Nyles McDaniel and Jeff McDaniel was fourth (68), while the First National Bank team of Anita Bates, Gloria Hall, Dana Scott and Shelly Heavener was fifth (78).
Hall won the longest drive on both Holes No. 1 and 10, while Tadtman (Nos. 2 and 11) and Caldwell (No. 8 and 17) won closest to the hole honors. Mode was closest to the line on Nos. 7 and 16.
