Church League winning teams crowned for 2012

The 2012 Choctaw Country Club Church League came to a close on Monday night. The 16-team league ran eight weeks for the local church teams.
For the fourth straight year, the Heavener First Baptist Church team of Brock Hardin, Bobby Pickle and John Summers won the first flight title with a score of 16-under, followed by First Christian Church-Manlove at -12.
In the second flight, the Southside Baptist-Mode team of Paul Mode, Monty Thompson and Billy Newby came in as the best with a score of even, with the Southside Baptist-Peters team being runner-up (+2).
The Church of God of Prophecy trio of Ron Killion, Briuttany Beasley and Clint Beasley took home the third flight championship with a score of +16, followed by the Solid Rock-Painter team (+19) and the Poteau First United Methodist-Sabatucci team in third (+26).
