Claud Ellen Baldwin Balentine

Claud Ellen Baldwin Balentine, 87, of Wister died Thursday, April 4, 2013, in Poteau. She was born Oct. 22, 1925, in Mansfield, Ark., to Claude Charles and Ellen (Rogers) Ellis. She worked in quality control for Rivals in Kansas City. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Howe. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and five brothers.
Survivors include her husband, Pat Balentine; sister, Frances Gibson of Wister; son Robert Ensley of Kansas City, Mo.; stepson, Billy and wife Joyce Balentine of Neosho, Mo.; grandchildren, Jason and Britney Ensley, Stephanie Ensley and Amy Ensley; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Scarlet and Natalie; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones. 
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 8, at First Baptist Church in Wister with the Revs. P.J. Atkinson and Keith Strouse officiating. Burial will be in Ellis Chapel Cemetery, Wister.  
The family will visit with relatives and friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
