Clifford Oliver Harris

Clifford Oliver Harris, 94, of Indianapolis, Ind., formerly of Monroe died Monday, Dec. 24, 2012 in Indianapolis. He was born March 11, 1918, in Monroe to William Thomas and Ollie Josephine (Pounds) Harris. Clifford was a veteran of the Merchant Marines. He was an aircraft electronic technician for 30 years. He was a member and past master of the J.C. Pelt Masonic Lodge in Duncanville, Texas.
Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Agnes Marie (Askew) Harris; daughter, Lynda Chambers; grandson, Steven Chambers; granddaughter, Deborah Kuhn; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and loved ones.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ken Koster, Steven Chambers, Zachary Chambers, Ryan Chambers, Don Pickle and Dylan Pickle.
