Crews search for missing Pocola woman

Pocola Police Department along with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and several volunteers are searching for a missing Pocola woman.

Several law enforcement agencies and volunteers are searching for a missing Pocola woman.
Ruby Poole, 74, was last seen Wednesday night at approximately 11 p.m. She was seen walking near Choctaw Road and North Gray Street near the Choctaw Casino in Pocola, according to Pocola Police Department. She was reported missing Thursday morning.
Poole, who is believed to suffer dementia, may have walked away from her home on foot. She was last seen wearing a purple sweater, blue jeans and a black, white and beige checkered sweater. She may have been carrying a brown or black purse. Poole may be wearing glasses.
According to Pocola Chief of police Steve Howard, his agency and approximately 50 volunteers are searching the area she was last seen. A helicopter from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol is also assisting in the search.
