Defensive stalemate at Panama three-way scrimmage Friday night

August 28, 2012

PANAMA — The Panama Razorbacks had a triangular football scrimmage against the Canadian Cougars and the Sallisaw-Central Tigers Friday night at George Ollie Stadium. Only two touchdowns were scored in the entire scrimmage.
One of the defensive units would be on the field, and both of the other two offenses would also be on the field. One offense would run a play and just as soon as the whistle was blown, the other offense would sprint to the ball and run a play. It is like when teams are preparing for a no huddle offense, if you were on defense you had no time to sub, you barely had time to breath due to the pace of the scrimmage format.
