Dorothy Josephine Midgley, 90, of Wister died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark.
Dorothy was born Nov. 1, 1921, in Wister to Jim and Pauline (Carpenter) Casey. She was a homemaker. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charley Midgley; granddaughter, Janice Couch; sister, Lucille Midgley; and son-in-law, Jimmie Martin.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Leon and Ann Midgley, Clifford and Elaine Midgley, Fred and Stacee Midgley all of Wister; daughters and sons-in-law, Patsy Calhoun of Pocola, Connie and Bruce Kelley of Wister, Deloris and Steve Stites of Alma, Ark., Debbie Vaughn of Pocola, Linnie Martin of Shady Point; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Loretta Bullard of Wister, Ann Massey of Oklahoma City, Margaret Donaho of Wister; brothers-in-law, Harrell Midgley of Poteau, Maurice Midgley of Wister; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and special caregiver, Trish Hildebrand.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at Ellis Chapel Church in Wister with Rev. Jack Covey and Rev. Jim Cook officiating.  Interment will be in Ellis Chapel Church, Wister. Pallbearers will be Joe Donathan, Steve Donathan, George Midgley, Lance Midgley, Jimbo Calhoun, Justin Kelley and Mike Martin.
The family will be at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Saturday to visit with relatives and friends.
