Duck Dynasty, Jimmy Houston guest speakers at Men's Retreat

Two members of TV's Duck Dynasty family and professional angler Jimmy Houston will be among speakers at the upcoming Kiamichi Men's Retreat, sponsored by the LeFlore Baptist Association.
Houston is scheduled to speak at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, and Duck Dynasty's Jeb and Al Robertson are slated at 11:15 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12. Brad Clayhost of Final Descent Outdoors also will be on hand Friday.
Organizers said about 200 tickets remain available for the “Living Your Life on Target” event at Kiamichi Baptist Assembly at Talihina.
“Ticket sales have picked up considerably in the last couple of weeks and we certainly anticipate to be sold out soon,” retreat coordinator Rodger Duncan said,
Activities will begin at noon Oct. 11 an include a variety of hunting, wild game trapping, archery, fishing and skeet shooting events. A “conceal and carry” class is scheduled from noon-5 p.m.
Food and lodging is included in the $50 registration price along with free participation in all of the venues accept the optional “conceal and carry” class, which is an additional $30, according to Neil O’Donnell, LBA director of missions.
Meals will include a barbeque Friday night and breakfast and lunch Saturday.
